Soriana Capitol Complex Sofa

SORIANA "The Year of Produce - 1969/2021" is a transformation of the conford concept without a doubt. Soriana sofa was born in 1969, by the hands of Afra and Tobia Scarpa, and it was destined to be remade with a new history of polyurethane foam molding. For the first time in history, it did not require internal branches but instead used external gold frames to stabilize the shape. Soriana sofa, which created an external/intrinsic balance, welcomed and indulged in new ideas, created a masterpiece of the work of the laborer with a simple tool, and took the gold medal in 1970. The internal filler of the polyurethane foam (BioFoam@) is a bioplastic from the source of the plant. It is a result of the transformation of Cassina and TobiaScarpa. This material is a research project of CassinaLAB, aimed at promoting the protection and holding the sash.
