Launched in 2002 as a floor lamp interpretation of Poul Henningsen's iconic three-shade system, the PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp brings the same legendary glare-free light quality to your living spaces at standing height. Henningsen's obsession was simple: create light that is scientifically perfect — soft, even, and completely free of harsh shadows or glare, no matter the angle.

The three-layer opal glass shades — with a glossy top and sand-blasted matte bottom — work together using equiangular spiral curves to diffuse every beam of light once or more before it reaches your eyes. The result is a floor lamp that fills a room with warmth rather than brightness — the difference between a lamp that illuminates and one that transforms.
